Gambino

play this while you read this piece

The waves crash softly at your feet.

Enveloping your ankles and drenching your jeans.

The water is warm and nice.

The air is salty and fresh. A warm breeze rustles your hair. You smile,

remembering that last time you were here with her.

You stare out into the ocean

and watch as the suns yoke crack and bleed on the horizon.

The blue of the sky melting into the magentas, oranges, and reds from the sun.

The clouds catch fire.

You remember seeing this fire

reflected in her eyes and her soul.

The excitement of watching the sun die and the sky give birth to the stars.

As the stars begin to crown you see her.

Born again.

This was made on a whim while listening to that song. I hope you enjoy it.

Big thanks to Emily Bwick for helping me edit it.
