Reflection

This series brings out a very nostalgic vibe due to the fact that I grew up on Rick Riordan’s mythology books. I love that he’s still branching off into other mythologies like Norse, Egyptian, and Roman. He went back to Greek for these books and I really appreciated it. He took a different perspective on the book. Instead of the main character being a demigod the character was a god and he wrote it so well. The emotions, the dismissive nature, and the loftiness of being a god were all there in the character but there was a totally human side to this god. I really recommend these as reads if you like the Percy Jackson series.

For this month I did not reach my goal in the books I wanted to read. I’m not super disappointed because I ended up reading those three books, which kind of makes up for no reading from my plan. For the month of May, I would like to stick to my plan as much as possible.
